Alithya is seeking a results-driven Cloud HCM Functional Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll provide deep domain and functional expertise to assess, design, and deliver reporting solutions across Oracle Cloud HCM modules. Your work will directly support the success of enterprise-wide HR digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that business needs are met through effective reporting strategies.
You will focus on Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits (BEN), Absence (ABS), Time & Labor (OTL), Compensation (COMP), Payroll (PAY), Recruiting (ORC), Talent (TAL), and Learning (LRN).
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in HCM reporting delivery, collaborating across project teams and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the reporting expert for Oracle Cloud HCM projects, ensuring alignment between business needs and reporting capabilities;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions using Oracle reporting tools;
- Design and develop Oracle Cloud HCM reports using tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI, and SQL, following best practices and implementation standards;
- Participate in building foundational reporting structures required for Oracle Cloud HCM implementations;
- Develop use cases and test cases for Oracle Cloud HCM reports and participate in testing activities, including UAT support and resolution of test anomalies;
- Support project execution methodologies and ensure delivery milestones, including progress reporting, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication;
- Ensure capabilities delivered align with original business objectives, system architecture, and Oracle-recommended practices;
- Partner with technical teams to support integration needs and validate report data across modules;
- Provide post-go-live support, enhancement guidance, and knowledge transfer to users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HCM implementations, preferably Oracle Cloud HCM;
- Demonstrated experience in leading requirement gathering, solution design, and training efforts;
- Experience working in dynamic environments and collaborating across functional teams;
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering reports using OTBI, BI Publisher, and SQL;
- Deep functional knowledge of HCM modules: Core HR, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, OTL, ORC, Talent, and Learning;
- Strong understanding of operational HR processes, HCM system integration, and full testing cycles (SIT, UAT, go-live support);
- Ability to manage scope and escalate risks or misalignments when needed;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Extra Edge
- Experience leading full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations;
- Experience conducting workshops, CRPs, and end-user training;
- Functional exposure to General Ledger, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Grants, and EPM tools (EPBCS, FDI, FreeForm);
- Industry experience in Healthcare, Insurance, or Financial Services;
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Language Skilss
- English: Proficient
